Avoid using Twitpic.

This blog is for everyone, but especially for professional photographers, artists and any visual professional that make a living from it.

And this is why:

“…you hereby grant Twitpic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of…” and “…after you remove or delete your media from the Service provided that any sub-license by Twitpic to use, reproduce or distribute the Content prior to such termination may be perpetual and irrevocable.”

Personally I am  glad I have left Twitpic, and will no longer use their service. I doubt I would even return now if they change the terms back to what they were prior to the 4th of May because I have lost faith in the company for the very fact that they have brought in these clauses and the fact they neglected to announce the changes to their users.
